Investigative Exercise 1 Blogs

For Exercise 1: I looked at the John Oxley Library blog. The post that struck my attention most was 'John Oxley Library embraces 'Punk' music'. I like here that the library has begun this collection because the scene or community in which these bands existed would have been very underground and not particularly understood or enjoyed by a wider community. I think it's important to preserve this culture and have access to it.

I have been collecting records for a couple of years now because I like the physicality of them. I'm also interested in Australian punk music old and new, not so much in terms of punk sounds but in terms of punk attitudes.
