Exercise 6 Social Bookmarking

Book reviews should not be limited to those who are trying to sell and/or purchase books. Libraries should begin including reviews within their library catalogues as they will promote borrowing, especially if they are small libraries dealing with a decline in visitors. A client will be less likely to borrow a book if they don't know about its content. Choosing who writes the review or where it comes from will be important because it would have to be written well.

The University of Sydney Library does not include book reviews in their catalogue, but because it is an academic library they do not suffer so much with the issue of loosing clientele.
